AI is an interesting tool for tasks in automated content production. Recently, I experimented with comparing Claude vs ChatGPT. What I cannot help wondering about these two AI models is how they relate to the execution and performance of various types of tasks in terms of both text and image creation.
One of the very technical questions I posed was explaining the difference between CI/CD. Both AIs gave me brilliant answers, indicating their vast and strong understanding of the subject. Despite this being the case, I tested them for their creative side:
“Create an image of a black dog looking at the sky.” The results showed a lot: while ChatGPT had prepared a very natural-looking image, precisely according to my requirement, Claude was very frank about his limitations in image generation. Rather than trying to develop the image, Claude explained why it could not perform the requested task.
This experience was eye-opening. It challenged my initial assumption that these AI tools would have identical capabilities. With AI technologies developing quickly, every raised platform has strengths and weaknesses. This small experiment of mine helps highlight the value of different AI tools.

One thing I love about Claude is its Artifacts– when I ask for code, a document, or a design, it appears in a separate window, making it easy to refine without cluttering the chat. It feels natural, like having a dedicated workspace within the conversation.
GPT doesn’t have Artifacts, but it does have Code Interpreter for running Python and Canvas for editing documents and code. While Claude’s Artifacts are great for structured content, GPT’s tools are more powerful for calculations and debugging.
Personally, Claude feels more seamless if I’m working on a long document or project. But GPT gives me more flexibility when I need to crunch numbers or test code. It depends on what I’m working on!

GPT has also become an integral part of my content creation workflow. Whether I am drafting an email, technical documentation, or blog post, I am impressed by the model’s ability to generate well-structured text.
Prototyping and MVP Development
When we are in early stages of product development, time is significant. This is where GPT comes to the rescue. GPT is a great assistant for building quick prototypes and MVPs(Minimum Viable Products). No matter you want to create a simple Flask backend, or basic React UI, GPT can generate code for you and give a solid starting point that can save hours of your work.
Legacy Code Modernization
I am sure you must have worked on an outdated code, and so did I. We know how frustrating it can be. But the good part is that GPT can join you and help modernize the legacy code. It can suggest best practices, refactor the outdated code and can even convert old code to work with newer versions.
